Pristine Wilkinson Sword D-Type Survival Knife ‘Polished’ Blade

A rare & pristine c1950s Wilkinson Sword D-Type survival knife. These were developed by Wilkinson at the request of the MoD, the ‘D-Type’ was the one that was accepted, hence the name. These went on to be made by other Sheffield based companies who did not adhere to the strict blade hardening process that Wilkinson employed. The Wilkinson examples are rare and hard to find, especially in such pristine condition as this one. A super heavy and robust knife/weapon with an overall length of 12 3/8” and a blade of 7”. This example appears totally unused and in perfect condition, with the full length ‘polished’ blade showing absolute no signs of sharpening or use and retaining all of it’s original factory polished finish. A fabulous clean and original example with the correct Wilkinson stamp on the blade.
