Exquisite Unissued & Unused Wilkinson MoS Contract ⩚B2 Second Pattern F-S Fighting Knife

What a totally exquisite beauty this one is. Near flawless, unissued, never sharpened, used or carried and with a stunning ‘perfect’ blade. This Wilkinson Ministry of Supply contract Second Pattern F-S has a full length blade at 6 1/2”, which retains 100% of its original high luster bluing, a perfect point, never been sharpened or used, totally flawless..! The hilt is solid and retains most of its original finish, with very minor softening to the high points from storage and/or handling. A small old casting crack (see pic) in the pommel area being the only issue, this from new, so it is how it came out of Wilkinson. The pommel nut is original and untouched. The crossguard is correctly and clearly stamped with the Wilkinson MoS inspection/ownership stamp of ⩚B2. The other side of the crossguard being stamped with the import mark of England, as is the scabbard. Speaking of which, the beautiful Wilkinson made scabbard is very near flawless, with just the elastic having perished, otherwise perfect.
