US WWII M-3 Fighting Knife By Robeson Co With Leather Sheath By Lyon & Coulson

An excellent example of an early M-3 fighting knife by Robeson Company, blade marked ‘U.S. M3 R.C. CO’ with inspection stamp on cross-guard and complete with leather sheath marked ‘US M6 L&C 1943 FJA. A great knife that has clearly been issues, carried and used but remaining in solid, complete and serviceable condition. Overall length is around 11 5/8” with a blade or around 6 3/4”, no finish remaining, showing use and sharpening with nice and clear markings. A terrific early/scarce leather sheath, well marked and in very good order, it could use a gentle clean but will leave that up to the new owner.
