Rare & Desirable World War One Robbins Of Dudley Fighting Knife

Knives by Robbins of Dudley rarely turn up, so it is especially nice to offer this rare example. A totally honest, original and correct example of the dagger pattern of fighting knife dating from World War One, with a blade length just shy of 6”, double edged, with twin fullers and a convex grind. The pommel has the correct Robbins makers stamp. Overall condition is excellent, especially when one considers the fighting knife is over a century old. The original sheath has long gone but it is nicely paired up with a leather sheath from Cogswell & Harrison (another rare and classic fighting knife). Few collectors are fortunate enough to have a Robbins of Dudley knife in their collection, so this beaut represents a rare opportunity.
