Extraordinarily Rare Wilkinson ‘HEK’ F-S Scabbard Only

If you are not familiar with the history of the Wilkinson Experimental ‘Helicopter Escape Knife’ - in 2001 Wilkinson was contracted by the Army Air Corps to provide a small quantity of experimental knives or a short F-S Pattern. Ultimately these knives were not accepted but represent the very last (although experimental) official military F-S supplied by Wilkinson. See inset for an example of the knife, scabbard and associated documentation.

Offered here is an original Wilkinson scabbard to fit this short HEK experimental knives by Wilkinson. This scabbard originally came to me direct from Robert Wilkinson Latham and is absolutely correct, a rare piece of Wilkinson history. Just the scabbard is offered for sale. Condition is unused but the chape is missed its staples and is detachable.
