Wilkinson ⩚B2 Ministry Of Supply Contact Second Pattern F-S Fighting Knife

An excellent example of the Wilkinson MoS contract Second Pattern F-S. Both knife and scabbard are marked with the ‘England’ import stamp, so an un-issued knife. The crossguard is stamped with the Ministry of Supply inspection/ownership stamp of ⩚B2, the last digit not visible due to an inaccurate stamping, common on these knives. The hand-ground blade appears full length at 6 5/8” and retains almost all of its original high luster dark finish. The pommel nut is original and untouched. Overall a really clean, solid and honest example, showing what appears to be just handling and/or storage wear only. This knife comes with its original and correct Wilkinson scabbard and is complete with both wings and the elastic retaining strap, a little stretched but still present.
