Super Clean Type I ⩚56 Second Pattern F-S Fighting Knife With Scabbard

A really beautiful and super clean example of the all nickel, Type I Second Pattern F-S. The cross-guard is stamped with the MoS inspection/ownership mark of ⩚56 (slightly miss-stamped), the opposing side is stamped with the import mark of ‘England’. This is a really lovely example, with a beautiful full length blade just shy of 6 3/4”. The hilt retains most of its original bright finish. The pommel nut is original and untouched. Complete with correct scabbard, mostly complete, just missing the elastic and frog backing. This is a really fine, clean and very beautiful example in very near unused condition.
