Fabulous & Full Of Character! Original Cases V-42 Fighting Knife

I have to admit, I love finding knives like this, honest and full of character. This ‘beauty’ surfaced in England, so perhaps it found its way there via a US serviceman stationed in the run up to D-Day or maybe got traded to a British solider? The history is long lost but they're no doubting that this knife has seen some action. A solid example but clearly a knife that has been carried and used. the blade now showing a length of around 7”. This knife comes with a field made leather sheath, it fits great and is of very heavy leather with a lot of age, so appears period correct. With minty examples fetching giddy prices these days, this is a great opportunity to get hold an a totally original and honest example with reach character.
